Have App Access? Delete Instantly
You can also delete your account immediately from the Copaly mobile or web app by navigating to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
Before You Submit
To protect your assets, Copaly verifies the following before completing an account deletion:
Zero Wallet & Trading Balances
All cryptocurrency and fiat balances across your main and trading wallets must be withdrawn first.
No Active Vouchers or Open P2P Trades
Any active vouchers (`available` or `locked`) and pending P2P transactions must be completed or cancelled.
Identity & Ownership Confirmation
For your security, our team may verify ownership via your registered email address before executing permanent erasure.
What Data Is Deleted & Retained?
- Permanently Erased: Profile information, active session tokens, device push tokens (FCM), saved preferences, and marketing subscriptions.
- Statutory Retention: In compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and financial AML/CFT regulations, historical transaction and KYC audit records are securely archived for the legally mandated retention period and cannot be used for commercial or marketing purposes.
